Pourtant, elle a connu ce qu\u2019elle appelle \u00ab&#160;l\u2019instinct maternel&#160;\u00bb, \u00ab&#160;au niveau le plus animal qui soit&#160;\u00bb. Mais elle d\u00e9nonce ce que la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 m\u00e2le a fait de cet instinct&#160;: un \u00ab&#160;moyen d\u2019oppression et d\u2019ali\u00e9nation qui ravale la femme au rang de femelle pondeuse&#160;\u00bb. Fran\u00e7oise participait souvent \u00e0 ces controverses. Dans le num\u00e9ro dat\u00e9 du 29 d\u00e9cembre 1976, elle r\u00e9pondait \u00e0 Isabelle Cabut, alors directrice de la publication, en s\u2019attaquant au \u00ab&#160;mythe de la vie priv\u00e9e&#160;\u00bb et en promouvant la \u00ab&#160;r\u00e9volution amoureuse&#160;\u00bb.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify; margin-top: 10px;\"><em>\u00ab&#160;Il n&rsquo;est pas question de supprimer l&rsquo;amour, mais au contraire de l&rsquo;\u00e9tendre. Apr\u00e8s l&rsquo;exp\u00e9rience de la guerre et des horreurs du nazisme, elle vit en direct le racisme colonial, et en fait un article dans le journal Droits et libert\u00e9s du 24 f\u00e9vrier 1955.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00ab&#160;Les aspects les plus r\u00e9pugnants du racisme que je ha\u00efssais si fort chez les Am\u00e9ricains et les Anglais, \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9gard des noirs, des natives, je les vis dans toute leur hideur \u00e0 Alger et \u00e0 Constantine&#160;;
